"Om bhraam bhreem bhraum sah rahave namah"

In order to keep count on the number of times, these mantra can be chanted with the string of jepa beads (108 beads).You need to chant these Rahu mantras 18000 times over a period of 40 days. This has to be chanted only during the night time. In addition to the regular recitation of these mantras, it is also important to perform Puja with sandal wood and blue flowers. The best time to start this recitation is during the bright half moon Saturday. If you want to get the quick results of these puja, you need to place the Kali and Durga Yantra in the place of worship.Gayatri Mantra for Rahu is as follow:

 

"Om Sookdantaya vidmahe, Ugraroopaya dhimahi, tanno Rahu Prachodayat"

 

There are 3 parts in this above Gayatri mantra. The first segment is the chants and hymns to the Rahu God. The Next one is the proper mantra for the Planet God and the final part can be considered as an abstract of all the chants and powers of the mantra altogether.This Gayatri mantra is to e chanted at three different timings in a day. It is called as Gayatri, when recited in the early morning during the sunrise. In the noon time, it is referred to as Savitri, the wife of Lord Shiva, the mature form of the Goddess. It is called as Sarasvati, the consort of Lord Vishnu, during the sunset of the day.You can also recite the below mantra 18,000 in order to seek the blessings of this planet Rahu.


"Ardha-kayam mahim-viryam chandraditya-vimardanamsimhika-garbha-sambhutam tam rahum pranamamy aham"


The above mantra can be translated into English as I present all my due respect to Rahu, child of Simhika, who is strong enough to have power over the Sun and the Moon While performing all these rituals and puja, you need to keep your mind and soul clear.
