Jupiter widens the prospects of the people's wealth in terms of knowledge and wisdom. The following is a very special nama or mantra for the Jupiter God which praises its shakthi and supremacy. People chant these mantras to get the spiritual connection with the Jupiter God.

"Om Strim Brahm Brihaspataye Namah"

Here, the word ‘Strim’ from the above mantra, need to be pronounced as ‘streem’. That word represents the Starana Shakthi which is the power of growing, budding and expanding. Below, you can find two more mantras which are have to be recited for this planetary deity. You can pick either one of them which seems easy to remember

"Om graam greem graum sah brihasptaye namah"

"Om vrim brihaspataye namah"

Usually, people chant all the mantras while holding the string of 108 jepa beads. These beads will help to keep count on the number of times the mantra  has been recited. All the Jupiter mantra can be recited 19000 times and also you need to perform puja with bright yellow flowers. The recitation can be started on a Thursday during the bright half moon period. Also, make sure you place any “Ganesh Yantra” in the place of puja and the recitation to increase the possibility of getting the blessings. Gayatri Mantra for Jupiter is as follow.

"Om Suraachaarya Vidmahe, Surasreshtaya dhimahi, tanno guruh prachodayat"

The Gayatri mantra has three parts where the first part is the chants to the Jupiter God. The second part is the actual mantra with all the messages in it. And the third part is the abstract of the mantra’s powers. The Gayatri mantra has three different names at different time of the day. When recited during the sunrise, it is called as Gayatri, the early form of the Goddess. In the noon, it is named as Savitri, the consort of Lord Shiva, which is the matured form. At sunset, it is referred as Sarasvati, the wife of Lord Vishnu. Other than all the above mantras, you can also recite the below puranic mantra 19,000 times, for worshipping the Jupiter

"Devanam ca rishinam gurun kańchana-sannibhham

buddhi-bhutam tri-lokesham tam namami brihaspatim"

The English translation of the above mantra is,“I pay due respect and obeisance to Brihaspati, God of the planet Jupiter.
