Mars in different House in your chart

The Planet, Mars, has different effects on different individuals when placed in different houses of the Kundali. Let’s now see how Mangal, or Mars, forms a ‘Mangal Dosha’ in a kundali.

When Mars is placed in the 1st, 4th, 7th, 8th or the 12th House of the Kundali, the Kundali is said to have ‘Mangal Dosha’, and the person with such a kundali, is called a ‘manglik’. The presence of Mangal Dosha, otherwise known as the Kuja Dosha, is one of the greatest fears and misconception in our society. Even the various treatises on astrology differ on their view about the Mangal Dosha, they all give you different exceptions to and remedies to nullify the Dosha. Nevertheless, Mangal Dosha cannot be ignored. It might gives rise to troubles in marital life. So, it is essential to match horoscopes for Kuja Dosha before marriage. It is also very important to analyze the chart and to identify the Kundali, for any Dosha in it.

If Mars is placed in the 1st house, it will affect 4th, 7th and 8th Houses. 1st House represents the character of the person. And so, a person may be very aggressive and ill tempered. Afflicted 4th House indicates problems associated with house, vehicle, accidents caused due to fire, chemicals, electricity, etc. Afflicted 7th House signifies a possibility of issues in marital life, with partners, etc. Afflicted 8th House indicates towards the possibility of a fatal accident. Evidently, the presence of Mars in the Ascendant is considered to be a setback.

If Mars is placed in the 4th House, it will affect the 7th, 10th and the 11th Houses. We have already discussed the adverse effects of afflicted 4th and 7th Houses. Afflicted 10th House indicates a possibility of frequent changes and hindrances in professional life, sleep cycles, and might result in conflicts with father. Afflicted 11th House indicates a possibility of loss due to accident, theft, and similar mishaps. And so, the placement of Mars in the 4th House is also not well suited.
